Mark Lowe, owner of Mahone Bay-based Lobster Made Easy, expects to sell 600,000 lobsters this year. - ContributedThe old saying, “it’s an ill wind that blows no good,” seems to be applying to Mark Lowe’s business, Lobster Made Easy.

“It’s terrible timing, but no lives were lost, and anything can be rebuilt,” said Lowe. “What I’m going through is nothing compared to the suffering those poor folks had to go through.” There is demand for thousands of lobsters, lobster rolls and lobster roll kits. But with the crimp in production, Lowe was forced to accept that he can’t do the impossible by instantly putting Lobster Made Easy kits in thousands of grocery stores at the snap of a finger.
