The former CEO of Austin-based real estate giant Keller Williams is suing the company and the Fort Worth-area franchise owner who claimed he had sexually...

John Davis said Fort Worth and Johnson County franchise owner Inga Dow falsely accused him of sexual assault to force the sale of her businesses for more than they were worth.

in federal court last November, alleging decades of sexual abuse and harassment by Davis that the company failed to take action against. She also included a D-FW operating company and regional owners as defendants. Pittman wrote in an opinion in September that Davis and the other defendants are not subject to arbitration because they are not parties in Dow’s license agreements with Keller Williams.

“Dow’s allegations in the federal lawsuit would have one believe that Dow’s sexual encounters with Davis were involuntary, nonconsensual, isolated or few and far between,” the lawsuit says. “This could not be further from the truth.” The company rejected a deal for him to sell them to another Keller Williams operator for about $46 million, and he sold to Gary Keller for tens of millions of dollars less, according to Davis’ suit.Keller Williams spokesman Darryl Frost said: “Mr. Davis’ attempt to involve Keller Williams in his quest to clear his name is unfortunate. As this is ongoing litigation, we do not intend to comment any further at this time.

“It is at this point that her desperation caused her to cross a clear moral and legal line to extort Davis, Keller Williams, Keller and others associated with Keller Williams that Dow holds animus towards,” the lawsuit states.
