The BBC has been criticised by a trade union for 'peddling the company line' during an interview on potential strike action by workers in the Royal Mail

He said: “It’s been announced that Royal Mail workers are to stage six fresh strikes next month including on Christmas eve in their long-running dispute over pay.

But Ward said that the journalist’s framing of the strike did not accurately reflect the workers reasons for taking industrial action.“Postal workers up and down the UK, 120,000 of them, are facing the biggest ever attack on jobs terms and conditions and the services that we provide to the public. “You’re wrong again, I’m sorry,” said Ward. “If you research your facts, what’s cost the company a huge amount in finances is them giving away over £567 million of a £758 million profit to shareholders.”

CWUnews Really does look like Dave Ward being interviewed by a Dummy....may I suggest Lord Charles...from the 1970s...!!!

Well, considering the BBC is a branch of the government, and Royal Mail's boss was brought in by the government to asset strip & collapse it, it would be naive to expect otherwise.

CWUnews Typical BBC !

Shambles151 Der BBC-Moderator stellt Fragen, die ihm, nach eigenem Bekunden, die Geschäftsleitung der privatisierten Post (Royal Mail) hat zukommen lassen!

Perhaps we’ll be able to get someone from Royal Mail on after Christmas to apologise and explain to the thousands of angry and disappointed people who won’t get their usual service this Xmas.

CWUnews At least the BBC allowed Dave to speak and tell the viewers the reality.

Stop paying TV licence

The BBC at their best 🙄

_Ungagged The BBC is, and has always explicitly been, the voice of The Establishment.

Clueless bbc. Earn your money (and there is lots of it) and do your research

CWUnews SHAME ON THE BBC FOR ONLY REPORTING PROPAGANDA AND NOT FACTS , ONCE AGAIN WHEN UNIONS OR ANY WORKERS HAVE A DISPUTE THE BBC PAINT IT AS THEY ARE BEING UNREASONABLE NOTHING MORE THAN A TORY PROPGANDA CHANNEL

CWUnews Typical BBC pish poor interview 😳😳😳
