The Business Post has received five nominations for this year’s UCD Smurfit School Business Journalist Awards Shortlist across categories including news story, analysis, interview and upcoming journalist.

Lorcan Allen and Peter O’Dwyer have been nominated for News Story of the Year for their coverage of how Ireland was preparing to concede on a corporate tax rate of 15 per cent. Killian Woods has also been nominated for News Story of the Year for his exclusive on how Dermot Desmond told Darragh O’Brien that investment funds are “having a laugh” at the government and “making a lot of money in the process”.
