G7 measure allows Russian oil to be shipped to third-party countries at or below price cap

, to be enforced by the G7, the European Union and Australia, comes on top of the EU’s embargo on imports of Russian crude by sea and similar pledges by the United States, Canada, Japan and Britain.

Russia, the world’s second-largest oil exporter, said on Sunday it would not accept the cap and would not sell oil that is subject to it, even if it has to cut production. A source who asked not to be identified due to the sensitivity of the situation told Reuters that a decree was being prepared to prohibit Russian companies and traders from interacting with countries and companies guided by the cap.

Lol aa if Russia cares

G7 'bout to get spanked by the ole invisible hand!

Nonsense, Russia has customers that buy in gold, rupees and yuan & etc

Good for the G7, but that doesn't mean anything in the real world. Far too long the west has been getting high on their own supply, sad to see.

Everything is wrong.

It will be sold through allies. China has quadrupled Russian LNG imports for resale to the European market and Germany for example.

The G7 are shooting the self in the foot again I see, they don’t care if their citizens freeze to death or starve to death,

Correct me if I’m wrong but Canadian oil (WCS) today sells at a discount, due to a lack of export pipelines, for less than sanctioned Russian oil at $60/USD. Only difference is Canada has done this voluntarily…to ourselves for decades…

All fossil fuels should be sold in the state's local currencies including in Roubles.

Russia won’t sell to any country with the cap but instead deal with China and Saudis, and India . It’s already out on telegram
