To survive, we have to adapt?

When Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that he would also be the Finance Minister, this didn’t sit well with some Malaysians.

Back in 2015, Rafizi Ramli, who was the Pandan MP at the time, filed a private members bill to create a new law to prevent a prime minister from nominating himself as the finance minister. The current situation is pressing and we had to make that decision, but it does not mean this has to continue. Rafizi said it was a difficult decision to be made but strong leadership is needed to help the country’s economy recover.
