Selangor Standing Committee on Investment, Trade, Industry and Small and Medium Industries chairman Datuk Teng Chang Khim said SIBS and SAS were two of many activities organised this year by Selangor through its agency, Invest Selangor, with the aim to assist the revival of the economic activities of various industries that were previously affected by the Covid-19 pandemi, Bernama reported. He said the SAS 2022 which was held from Sept 8 to Sept 10 successfully recorded a total of RM1.
“The event managed to assemble a total of 62 exhibitors from five countries representing the world’s best aerospace and aviation industries and saw 14 memorandums of understanding on various aerospace industry sub-sector collaborations signed during the three-day event,” he said. Meanwhile, he said the SIBS 2022 has recorded the highest potential negotiated sales of RM1.45bil compared to SIBS 2021 of RM217.6mil, thanks to the reopening of the international borders.
