That’s why they are paid the bonuses - not too hard to work out

as they say the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I wonder if they think of the homeless those who cant afford to have heating on in the winter etc etc

The real revolution is not getting these companies and their CEO's to pay the regulation % of taxation ( even though they should) but to realize that we don't need them or their tax $ to fund federal government spending (Learn MMT )

Don’t worry, the government is there for its people .......... white collar rich people

Gatorau The myth that Dominos is Australian seems to be well alive. auspol

When the poor rise up and throw off their shackles; when the avaricious and usurious are led shackled and humiliated to prison; people will look back and ask, “what caused this? What started it?” and I will point at this article

Yet the current federal government thinks it is ok to cut penalty rates, won't increase Newstart, allows wage theft as part of employers' business plans and continues the Medicare rebate freeze.

our values are upside down we put less value on people who risk their lives doing dangerous work to save us, than we do on many that do not actually work. one playing sport gets more than someone running our country. company exec more than those that earn the profit.

Gabbyhill67 An absolute disgrace that these companies can structure their tax liability in this way. Why can't we do the same?

This is so fkd up

It’s the system.. the shareholder system. BOD & CEO have one objective sorry two share price and bonuses & don’t get between either

This is why the low to mid income families can't pay there bills wake up Australia.

Nothing will change.

gdgoz LVT, please!

9 men to one woman... reflective of society I guess ... not 🥺

look at that what is wrong with that? don't get it? ONE woman

GaryFallon2 Guess what? I refuse to do any business with any of these death adders

Not really relevant unless they were paid to avoid tax. Most public companies are pretty gutless and inept at legally avoiding tax.

How much personal income tax do these grubs pay? Family Trusts?

That’s ok. We’re making up for their lack of contribution to society.

The juug and finesse. Can't knock the hustle.

Come on ATO, do something!!! FinancialReview

and you wonder why we're angry.

Just pay yourself more to increase expense

Have any of them broken the law? If not then stfu......

Billy Shorten copped plenty of $$$$$ from Dominoe's for his union when he was their boss.....workers got bugger all. How union negotiations have changed over the years.

These CEOs are like starving vultures promoting corporate greed. Shareholders can stop this! Whilst they maybe intelligent, no one should be paid these excessive amounts as it is pure greed.

NAME AND SHAME auspol

More irresponsible rubbish from the Age. The average reader doesn’t understand corporate tax. To say they paid ‘no tax’ when they have large capex or carry forward losses is poor journalism. Bonus’s are linked to share performance. BSL has made huge returns.

What ja 'xpect? The problem is socialism is even more corrupt. But we have to put every CEO thru a Manchurian Candidate treatment, but in ethics, so doing the right thing will happen automatically!! And when they do the wrong thing, a la Clockwork Orange, they will gag & vomit.

Don't forget the AFL and their tax free business 👍

fatcats

Oh yeah but govt will enforce robodebt collection for Centrelink recipients to pay for our schools, hospitals, roads etc... errrr?

Ummm that’s their job...

Leeches!

Fair to question if CEOs are value for money, but I expect a focus on things lawful tax minimisation as part of improving shareholder wealth. Maybe if Red Sally had unions pay tax she could preach about others

If they aren't profitable enough to pay tax they aren't profitable enough to pay bonuses. Bonuses should be conditional on paying tax. Are you getting Emma Albareci to write your stuff? Pathetic Yep. Yet their workers won’t be paid penalty rates. Seems fair.....
