_Business Everyone wants their increase. For smaller businesses it is a killer. Unemployment and bankruptcy will have that effect due to wage hikes. It’s a tough one

_Business The minimum wage increase is fine if the employer also gets that percentage increase in their own jobs or the economy is thriving. When this not the case many will lose jobs. Government must stop grand gestures with no thought.

_Business Then the minimum wage hike must also apply for State workers .Why is the Private Sector been made to pay this hike and government gives 3 percent ?What's the difference?

_Business minimum wages produces fewer jobs. It's not a positive for any economy. Competition in the market place and skills are what wages should be based on. That and a few other things.
