SilverLeaf among top master-planned communities in sales

SilverLeaf in St. Johns County is one of the fastest-selling master-planned communities in the country, according to the latest research from real estate consulting company RCLCO.RCLCO’s ranking is based on total new home sales as reported by each community and establishes updated rankings from the mid-year report. Also making the list was Nocatee in northern St. Johns County. The community from The PARC Group sold 386 homes in 2022. It has been one of the best-selling communities in previous years, but it's now getting close to full build-out.. In total, it could have more than 16,000 homes at full build-out, which is not expected until 2047.

According to the report, new home sales among the top 50 communities declined by 20% in 2022 compared to the pace set by 2021’s top communities. ​​Sales in the second half of 2022 were 13% lower than the first half of the year, highlighting the struggles faced by buyers as mortgage rates peaked above 7% in October.Ranked by Area homes built
