I haven’t been to a movie theatre in 20 years. The sound of nachos being crunched in someone’s mouth for 2 hours and the light from phone screens and constant background chatter drive me away forever. I watch at home. I don’t care if they all close.

Very sad.We are slowly destroying ourselves with tech and social media.I am glad I grew up in the 70,s

horray they closing!!

... our number one reason, is the audience , loud obnoxious trashy social misfits. GenGangsta ... second is Hollywood has sold out.

Just another sign of our booming economy

The union square one will close. Sad for NYC.

Haven't been in theater for years, didn't know they are still exist...

Do people still go to the movie theater anymore? I stream everything.

AMC is where it’s at anyway
