I would hardly call that a McMansion. I agree there is a housing crisis but this is not the problem.

In the decade her rent rose $70. Puny maximum rent increases will force people to stop having tenants. Long term tenants will only add to the housing crisis as homeowners convert back to single family houses.

Someone bought a house and is doing with it as they choose, why is this news? GARBAGEMEDIA

Taxes should be doubled or tripled on the vacant homes.

I don't believe for a second that the new owners ever planned to live in the home. Greedy flippers. The last thing needed in that neighborhood is multi modern homes.

1. What was the home owner paying in property tax while the units were being rented for $700? 2. No way it goes for anywhere near $3.8 mm. I’m guessing it sells for under $3.
