Openpay has collapsed, with the appointed receivers already making an “urgent assessment” of the business.
It was also announced on Monday that the company’s director, Yaniv Meydan, had tendered his resignation. Customers will not be able to use the Victoria-based BNPL platform to make any new purchases, however they will still be required to make any outstanding payments owed to the collapsed company. The company’s shares will also continue to be suspended “until further notice”.
“Further information regarding the future of the assets will be communicated after the completion of our initial assessment.”
All of these companies need to go, too many people haven't learnt that it's easier to go without rather than get into debt with these shonky companies.
Disapointing i gotta learn it on the news and not them
