Microsoft detailed its plans to add a more powerful version of the AI engine behind ChatGPT to both Bing and the Edge web browser.

Microsoft says it has tuned OpenAI's latest engine for search and is also using internally developed AI tools to improve standard Bing results. The Edge browser will offer new AI-powered features including summaries of web pages and a writing assistant.: Any profound change to the search business has the potential to upend the lucrative economics that have built Google's empire.

Anyhow, I had to disable Edge and all of Windows Search b/c it wasn't just that it was too invasive but invaded my PC with ad info I did not ask for. I won't even look at Bing and default to other engines.

Imagine the shenanigans that will ensue.

Microsoft going strong

Maybe ChatGPT can fix Windows 11 for them since they're unable to themselves?

Which nobody uses. Microsoft sucks. Make a decent operating system which doesn’t crash 50% of the time on boot up.
