Dallas firm purchases hotel near Beach Boulevard for $7.9 million

A Dallas venture capital firm specializing in lower middle-market growth has acquired a 105-room WoodSprings Suites hotel near Beach Boulevard.

Records show DEA Jacksonville LLC purchased the 3425 Saland Way property from Vplace Partners LLC for $7.9 million on Feb. 14. Vplace Partners LLC acquired the property for $500,000 in 2005, with the three-story hotel built a year later.The firm's website says it's a venture capital and private equity principals investment firm that hasTwo people registered to the LLC are Lennox Capital Partners LP founder Richard Squires and Dennis Wong.
