- IAMGOLD yesterday reported that the company produced 713,000 attributable gold ounces in 2022 in total, above the top end of revised production guidance of 650,000 to 705,000 ounces and higher than 601,000 ounces produced in 2021.
The company added that revenues from continuing operations were $958.8 million for the year from sales of 555,000 ounces at an average realized gold price of $1,721 per ounce. The company’s attributable gold production for 2023, excluding Rosebel, is expected to be in the range of 410,000 to 470,000 ounces. Cash costs are expected to be between $1,125 and $1,175 per ounce sold, and AISC is expected to be in the range of $1,625 to $1,700 per ounce sold.
Attributable measured and indicated resources totaled 24.1 million ounces, an increase of 9% relative to the prior year; and attributable inferred mineral resources totaled 9.4 million ounces, a decrease of 15% relative to the prior year.
