Energy security will be one of the priorities that Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi will touch on as he delivers his first State of the Province Address to millions of the province’s citizens.
This year’s theme is ‘Following up on the commitment to the people’. An estimated 700 guests are expected to attend the event at the Johannesburg City Hall on Monday. Lesufi has big plans to migrate the province’s poorer people from the Eskom grid. This as the provincial government held an energy summit last week, to find solutions to the energy crisis.
