The 20 recipient companies each received plaques of appreciation, bestowed by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Robert “Dodot” Jaworski Jr., and the City Council.
The top ten business taxpayers were Ortigas and Company Limited Partnership, South Premiere Power Corporation, DMCI Project Developers Incorporated, LG Electronics Philippines Incorporated, Jollibee Foods Corporation, Pag-asa Steel Works Incorporated, VSTECS Philippines Incorporated, First Gas Power Corporation, Davies Paints Philippines Incorporated, San Miguel Energy Corporation.
“We want to let you know that you are very valuable to the City of Pasig, and we appreciate everything that you do, not just in paying taxes, but also generating jobs and other efforts to liven the economy of Pasig,” Sotto said during the event.
