“They’re all different markets with so many great ideas,” he said. “Ideas around food access, small business development and fundraising.” “I appreciated the panel’s comments about how to support entrepreneurs that are immigrants and newcomers,” she said. “Like some other markets throughout the country, the West Side Market has a past history of waves of immigrants, initially from Eastern and Western Europe, starting food businesses. I think we need to make an effort to support entrepreneurship of more diverse populations, including adding Latino and Asian and Black vendors.

it used to be a good market, with outdoor vendors lining the building, but spaces are not available on a day to day use. you rent a space, you have to keep it and work it every day, bust days and slow days, it's not fair. I only want it around the holidays, busy times. make $$
