The digital euro would be an electronic equivalent to cash, giving people an additional choice about how to pay

Paschal Donohoe, the Minister for Public Expenditure, has called for the introduction of the “digital euro” to boost the EU’s single market.

Do you have faith with the bank's If we move to a european digital currency. Then it's byebye to individual countries and cash in hand. It will be tied to yr personal carbon footprint. They will be able to control you any way they see fit. Goodbye personal choice and freedom.

Disagree with this Think about those who prefer cash or don't have bank accounts

There is NO SUCH THING as an electronic equivalent to cash I can not hold it, store it, transport it. It is an illusion! Electronic cash is simply a way to TAKE AWAY EVERYBODY's MONEY and instead give them a fasle impression it is still there. It CAN BE deleted or witheld!

And give full control of personal wealth to central bankers? No thank you.

No.
