Thousands of people across Britain are banned from running a company according to the Insolvency Service's Register of Disqualifications. Several of them are from Nottinghamshire - and we've compiled a list.
Individuals are usually put on the register as part of a sentencing exercise for a crime they've committed, but it can also be for various business-related misdemeanours such as filing for bankruptcy or failing to report figures. The maximum time someone can spend on the register is 15 years.
