Shape up or close up for good ! Mamaks must respond not react ! Cleanliness and quality of foods served must be improved.

Is it the smoking ban or people are tight with money? Everything is so expensive now.

Wives are very happy now :-D

Seeing how so many mamak are suddenly found 'not halal', issues on hygiene care and sanitary issue, this is not surprising. And smoking ban isnt the reason.

Of course la, now that eating at mamak not even guarantees halal status

Stop whining & exaggerating. Smokers can't live w/o eating

They have been sucking people's blood for too long. Serves them right.

It could only be temporary until the public are used to the smoking ban.

The number of mamak eateries should dip until DrDzul can ascertain better cleanliness of these premise(s), right hygiene level among their staffs & proper hygienic methods with clean cutlery for food preparation. Some imports just insensitive with local cultures & expectations.
