FG moves to create labour market platform for older persons | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News ⚠️

The program tagged Continued engagement Bureau project is aimed at creating a platform to collect data on retired civil servants, and professionals among others in other to link them with agencies of government or organizations that may need their wealth of experience.

She stated that “the older persons have lots of potentials and institutional memory reservoir with expertise and skills as their experiences can incubate their and the centre can have a labour market agreement with agencies and organizations where they are needed.” She said: “We are giving the older persons the right to participate and still be included in the labour market. What we are saying is that older persons is a huge industry and not just a welfare unit, we are bringing out the potentials of older persons.”

Instead of reacting everything time something like this happens in schools,can the fed and state gov be proactive.Can they employ the services of external psychotherapist to monitor the students.Students can even access therapy through app abati1990 nguvuhealth NigEducation

It's long overdue,this what obtainable I'm so many other countries around the world

Let the federal government think of paying them their all their pensions (for those who have been in active service) and then subsidize medical care for the older population....before they can start thinking of doing any other thing.....

Now that is just 2months for Bubu to leave his eyes have opened to many projects he supposed to have done years back

FG has not created enough jobs for young people and they are planning to create jobs for older people who should be resting after many years of labour. FG leave our grandparents alone. They need rest. Don't stress them. Create jobs for young people. They will take care of the old
