Canadians should file a class action lawsuit against Victoria for decades of dumping raw sewage in the ocean.
I think it’s time for the tourism industry to give Victoria the same treatment the mayor of Whistler received after making a similar threat. Do they think the cars, busses, ferries and airplanes that bring the tourists all run on electricity?
So the CityofVictoria is not blaming its citizens for using the products and causing the pollution. Should they also sue companies that provide packaging that gets littered rather than having fines for littering?
It will be interesting to see the ferries and tugs that supply them with supplies sold because they are part of the problem. They burn fossil fuels, and are made using fossil fuels. They better walk the walk if they are going to talk the talk.
