Manager in China wins a year's worth of paid leave at company dinner

KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 — A manager of a private company in China won the ultimate prize during the company’s recent annual dinner — a year’s worth of paid leave.

The unidentified man has since gone viral on social media after a clip showing him clutching a placard with the words “365 days of paid leave” on it.reported that this was the first time the company, based in Shenzhen, held its annual dinner after the Covid-19 pandemic.The company’s administrative staff, identified only as Miss Chen, said they would discuss with the winner if he would prefer to exchange his prize for a cash equivalent or enjoy the paid leave.
