The UK Vaping Industry Association's 'greenprint' was dismissed as 'too little, too late' by leading campaigners

Vaping industry chiefs have come up with a “22-point environmental plan” for the sector as calls for a ban on polluting disposable e-cigs grow.

In the wake of the Daily Record’s campaign, the Scottish Government announced a review of disposable e-cigs including the potential for a ban. It also said options to incentivise customers to recycle should be looked at, and packaging should make it clearer that disposable vapes are recyclable. “The ‘greenprint’ aims to mobilise environmental action to support a sustainable vaping sector in the future.”
