Dubbed “Ireland’s best-paying supermarket” the chain has initiated a recruitment drive to fill over 360 vacancies across the retailers’ 156-store network in Ireland, including 99 vacancies in the capital. The company is recruiting for store assistants including 73 permanent positions and 26 fixed-term contract positions in its Dublin stores.
The supermarket chain says that existing vacancies, as well as an increase in store openings in Dublin, are driving the demand for new recruits in the county. The pay for some of the rolls is pretty decent as well, with Aldi paying above the leading market entry rate for shop assistants.
