A utilities company supplied a hospital with water while its engineers worked to restore supply to the area.

Tankers have been supplying water to Newtown Hospital while engineers work to fix a leak in the area.It started in the early hours of Thursday due to a leak on Llanfair Road, but supplies have been restored with engineers now working on fixing the fault that caused the problem.Powys Teaching Health Board has said that the water company Hafren Dyfrdwy had reacted rapidly to ensure the hospital still has water supplies – piping water in through tankers parked outside.

Tankers have been supplying water to Newtown Hospital while engineers work to fix a leak in the area.
