The point is,if wages go up,demand goes up. More of each dollar given to a worker goes BACK into the economy than that same dollar given to a wealthy person. You know this. Supply-side economics is EXACTLY the problem. Stock buybacks are anti-market and should be illegal (again)

As a rule am against taxes but this is probably the one and only thing I agree with democrats on... share buybacks tend to work against the companies that exercise them. GE spent 100 billion buying back its stock. Look at the price today!

Share buybacks are a form of wealth extraction by corporations. In real sense, firms that begin with shareholder capital and debt, could eventually buy back and own themselves (via holding companies), meaning, they could eventually equally exploit everyone. RogueCapitalism.
