How these North Texas business owners are making franchising a family affair.

The Bedore’s Fort Worth location, their first, is managed by their future daughter-in-law, Callie. The couple recently purchased the Plano location from the previous owner and decided to bring in more family to manage it.“They [Donnie and Celeena] decided, hey, we want to make this a family business, which I love,” said Mackenzie “Kenzie” Bedore, Plano Graze Craze manager and niece of Donnie and Celeena.

The store puts a Bedore touch on their products by topping each board with a special hand-written note. Sometimes the Bedores write hundreds of notes a day. The happy atmosphere in the store and the close-knit, and mostly blood-related, team sets the Bedore-owned stores apart from other Graze Craze locations.

As charcuterie grows in popularity, the Bedore-owned Graze Crazes hope to grow in size as well. The family is currently eyeing Flower Mound and Mansfield for future locations with a long-term goal of eight or nine area locations.Giving back to the community is also important to the Bedores. Kenzie has plans to cater the SafeHaven of Tarrant County’s Purple Party, and is hoping to partner with Make-A-Wish to create a special board.
