Most of us will be loyal to our local or favourite Chinese or Thai eatery, but now may be the perfect time to try somewhere new, especially if it is award-winning. The Zen Restaurant in Lytham St Annes has been named the best Oriental Restaurant in the North West and also beat off other regional winners to triumph as the overall champion in The Food England Awards.
Dishes on the menu, which includes a number of gluten free options, specials and a A la Carte, ranges from soups, king prawn and green curry, duck and red curry, seafood 'pots' to Oriental pork belly, rendang chicken, teriyaki steak fillet Udon and Malaysian Sambal chilli. The comments were quick to congratulate the restaurant in the comments, with one delighted diner writing: "You deserve the award for your work, attention to detail, and fabulous staff. "
