President Joe Biden will deliver a foreign policy address from the Oval Office on Thursday evening amid growing tensions across the globe.

"We are facing an inflection point in history. One of those moments where the decisions we make today can determine the future for decades to come," Biden began inside the Oval Office.on Thursday morning spoke about being the first American President to travel to the country during the war.

Biden shared that he has also spoken to Palestine's President Mahmoud Abbas to reiterate that "the United States remains committed to the Palestinian people's right to dignity and to self-determination."Biden also spoke of the airstrike on al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, claiming once again that Israel was not behind the blast.

Biden was firm in saying that while Putin and Hamas represent different threats, they share one commonality.Biden said Hamas's purpose for existing is the destruction of the State of Israel and the murder of Jewish people. He highlighted again that Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people. He also spoke of the United States' NATO allies and if Putin were to attack one, "we will defend every inch of NATO."

On Friday, Biden confirmed he will be sending an urgent budget request to Congress to fund America's national security needs and to support "critical partners," including Israel and Ukraine. "As I said in Israel, as hard as is, we cannot give up on peace. We cannot give up on a two-state solution. Israel and Palestinians equally deserve to live in safety, dignity and peace," Biden said.
