Suspended National Student Financial Aid Scheme CEO Andile Nongogo says his suspension is linked to lucrative offtake agreements between companies which he claims were handpicked by a senior government official and the scheme’s board chairperson Ernest Khosa. The staggering figures are contained in an internal audit report which implicated the then project manager Matsiababa Motebele, who is now the vice-principal of operations and facilities, in wrongdoing.
