North East Development Commission (NEDC), has donated the sum of N2 billion to traders of the Maiduguri Monday Market who were affected by the fire incident

that destroyed goods worth billions of naira in the market on the eve of the last presidential election.

The board members and the management team of the NEDC had earlier before the courtesy call on Zulum, visited Konduga and Bama local government areas and inspected the two reconstructed police stations destroyed by the Boko Haram terrorists in the two local governments at the peak of the insurgency, from where they proceeded to Aloe Dam in Konduga where the Commission is partnering the Chad Basin Development Authority towards rebuilding the Dam.
