For years, the Pew Research Center and other groups have found that most Americans are 'concerned and confused' about how much they are monitored and feel powerless to do anything about it. But privacy experts say any such alleged consent is meaningless because of the dense legalese used in vehicle contracts — language that is intended to keep buyers from knowing what they are agreeing to.
