Grand jury that worked with special counsel investigation remains active under District’s U.S. attorney’s office.

By Spencer S. Hsu Spencer S. Hsu Investigative reporter Email Bio Follow March 27 at 6:12 PM A grand jury that worked with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III in Washington is continuing to work on related matters, including an ongoing investigation of a mystery, foreign state-owned company that refused to comply with a Mueller subpoena, a federal prosecutor said Wednesday.

Brian D. Boone, a partner with the Alston & Bird law firm representing the company, said in court without elaborating that the company wanted to remain anonymous, attorneys in the case said. Howell had set the hearing after the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday announced it would not review a lower-court order requiring the foreign financial entity — known in court papers simply as a “Corporation” owned by “Country A” — to comply, finding it in contempt, and imposing a $50,000 daily fine.

Mueller spokesman Peter Carr declined to comment beyond confirming the matter is being handled by Liu’s office.

Disappointed in you, Mr. Mueller.

Mueller should be investigated

TrumpU Fraud, Trump Foundation closed down, NYT's Trump and father tax evasion investigation. Yep, in most countries trump would have a criminal record and been banned from even running. His life interests are 'rip people off' with zero interest in public service.

Wish someone can sue WaPo for fake news...🙄

This has nothing to do with Trump.

You guys are still hoping. Can't let it go even though 600 days couldn't indict or find evidence. It's not journalists job to create the story without evidence.

Waist of time. Unless the are looking into Hillary?

As soon as travel arraignments are made the Russians will be on their way to plead guilty. WaPo should strategically place reporters at the airports now.

The Democrats paid Christopher Steele to collude with Russia in the elections
