The following important information has been brought to my attention concerning Charlottetown’s downtown farmer’s market. This information came to me after I had a letter in the Guardian 2011. Perhaps we’ll make the adjustment with just as many shoppers. We can only hope! I thank all those involved who are responsible for finding a new location.

2. There are two location options for a market of this size within the BIA, a. Queens Wharf – we were not permitted on this space. b—Confederation Landing Park – which we accepted. 4. Your specific space will align with the sidewalk, on concrete, at the edge of the park rather than the centre/grass, to better accommodate you.6. We have done, and are doing, everything within our power to accommodate vendors in a new location, as we always have.

On Jan. 1, I fell and broke my hip. From that day till the day of my discharge on Feb.17, all I can say is the care and concern from all, in Units 1 and 8 and rehab in Unit 7, was nothing short of overwhelming. Dr. Carroll, the surgeon, and OR nurses were wonderful.To one and all, a sincere thank you and may you be truly blessed for your genuine compassion for all your patients.
