COMEAUVILLE, N.S. — A 27-year-old Church Point man has been arrested and charged following a break-and-enter and a fire at a business in Comeauville.

At around 5:30 a.m. on May 21, an employee arrived for work and noticed broken windows at the front of the building.The employee shut off the torch and put out the fire but there was damage to the business, two outbuildings on the property and a vehicle in the parking lot.Meteghan RCMP identified a suspect and safely arrested the man at a home in Grosse Coques at around 2 p.m. the same day.

Rheal Paul Martin has been charged with two counts of mischief and arson and was kept in custody to appear in Digby provincial court on May 23.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
