Many wide receivers in the NFL have received contract extensions this offseason, with some clawing their way into the category of the top five highest-paid at their respective position. Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown signed a three-year, $96 million extension in April of this year, making him the highest-paid receiver at $32 million annually. However, that figure is now only good for second place at the position.
Even though he only secured 1,074 yards and five touchdowns in 2023, he is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL.His new extension comes on the heels of multiple receivers receiving huge extensions in the offseason. As stated, Brown and the Eagles agreed on an extension in April that made him the highest-paid receiver at the time.The Lions and Amon-Ra St. Brown also agreed to an extension in April as well, making him the second-highest-paid receiver at the time, at $30.02 million annually.
