The vacation rental company being sued by an El Paso woman after she was shocked and her husband electrocuted in a Mexican resort's hot tub said they are not responsible.

Instead, Casago said the responsibility of maintaining and repairing the resort's common areas falls under the Sonoran Sea Homeowners Association.Casago laments the tragedy and vows to cooperate with authorities regarding the investigation.We are devastated by what has occurred and our hearts are with the family and the victims of this terrible incident.

Houston attorney Tej Paranjpe, who is one of the lawyers representing Zambrano, described the court's move as a "crucial first step," adding that regardless of who is at fault-- jacuzzi manufacturers, contractors, the resort and/or its employees-- they want to determine what happened and why and prevent this type of tragedy from happening again.The deadly incident happened on June 13.
