After discussing maritime security capabilities with the AFP Chief, Thailand Navy on Thursday met with the Department of National Defense to discuss prospective defense industry cooperation.
“Both officials agreed to increase navy-to-navy engagements through established dialogue mechanisms,” DND Spokesperson Arsenio Andolong said. In response, Admiral Adoong shared Thailand’s best practices in manufacturing its own ammunition, weapons, missiles, and military naval assets, particularly its offshore patrol vessels, and spare parts for its frigates.
