U.S. crude inventories fell by 4.6 million barrels to 426 million barrels in the week ended August 16

U.S. crude stocks, gasoline and distillate inventories all fell by more than expected in the week ending August 16, the Energy Information Administration EIA)said on Wednesday.

Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub fell by 560,000 barrels in the week ended August 16, the EIA said.
