Private funeral service for former Finance Minister Tito Mboweni

The private service will be followed by a public funeral service at the Nkowankowa stadium later this morning.Family spokesperson Stanley Mboweni says, “There is going to be a private service for two hours and then from Heanertsburg, we are going to Nkowankowa stadium where the service is going to start at 10h00 and we want to thank the villagers here who have been with us throughout the week.

The family has allowed the public to view Mboweni’s body as it lies in state at his family home. Mboweni will be buried in a Special Official Funeral Category 2 on Saturday.
