Zamboanga City Collects Over P16 Million from Business Permits Through eBoss System

Zamboanga City has generated over P16 million from business permit applications and renewals using the electronic Business One-Stop-Shop (eBoss) system from January 2nd to 7th, 2025. Over 4,000 applications have been submitted, with the majority already processed and printed permits issued. The eBoss system continues to be supported by a physical Business One-Stop-Shop (Boss) at Centro Latino for those who require assistance.

THE Zamboanga City Government has collected a total of P16,163,732.63 from permit applications and renewals through the implementation of the electronic Business One-Stop-Shop from January 2 until Tuesday, January 7, 2025.Benjie Barredo, Business Permits and Licensing Office chief, said Wednesday, January 8, that as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, the number of business applications submitted totaled to 4,121.Of the 4,121 applications, 3,925 have been assessed and four are pending.

Business registration and renewal started on January 2. It will end on January 20.Barredo said the Boss at Centro Latino in Paseo de Mar continues to operate although business registration has shifted online.He said the Boss in Centro Latino operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends to facilitate and assist those who find the eBoss application challenging.
