A presentation by the employment and labour department reveals that, out of 367 applications for exemptions to the national minimum wage, 231 were granted, 8 are still being processed, 41 have been deferred because of outstanding documentation and 86 have been refused.
The national minimum wage is R20 an hour for the average worker, R18 an hour for farmworkers, R15 an hour for domestic workers and R11 an hour for expanded public works programme workers. Ramaphosa also said that by the end of September the report from the National Minimum Wage Commission into the impact of the minimum wage on employment, poverty, inequality and wage differentials will be concluded.
Politicians are missing the point and have tendency of shying away from the essence SA business owners are spoilt. DANGER: Profits are not shared amongst those who work it That is why SA is so highly polarised Not now, not in the next 15-20yrs seeing SA as one nation
So they wanna pay R10 pH?
R20 an hour R180 pd, R 900 per week R 3899.70 Ave month. How much do these employers want to pay employees? Slave wage?
This is another of Ramaphosa's wet dreams, at a time of massive unemployment, to come up with this pipedream is to further create more unemployment and dismissals. Please get rid of this fascist government before we are all fuxked.
