Govt to take necessary steps to tackle scourge of attacks on foreign nationals Minister of International Relations Naledi Pandor says the government will take the necessary steps to tackle the scourge of attacks on foreign nationals.

Minister Pandor says the government will also implement measures that will prevent similar attacks in future.

She was speaking after meeting with ambassadors that have representation in South Africa, in Pretoria. “On the recent events of violence against foreign nationals in South Africa both to reassure them that the government is taking all the measure that it can in order to ensure that we return to stability and calm to our country.”

“Also to discuss with them the steps we need to take in order to proactively prevent such occurrences in the future.”
