Starting on Friday, Facebook will begin a test in Australia that will prevent users from seeing likes, reactions and video views on the posts of others, a Facebook spokesperson said. Users will still be able to like and react to posts, but they just won’t be able to see an exact number of reactions. Users will also still be able to see a list of people who liked a specific post—it just won’t have the number displayed at the top.Facebook will use the results of the test to see if hiding likes makes users more comfortable without limiting their interactions. for Facebook since likes were originally a core part of the social network.
