That means learners will be able to finish school at Grade 9 and attain a General Education Certificate.

I don't think this would work out for South Africa 🇿🇦 because most learners in Grade 9 don't even know anything about careers so from grade 10 that's when they start focusing on the stream they chose, I guess this will jeopardize S.A educational value
