Sky News presenter Liz Tilley says Australia’s capital cities have just experienced the “biggest auction week this year”, which is “a really good sign for what 2020 has in store”. The Sky News reporter told Front Page there were “3000 auctions across capital cities this week”.

“The auction clearance rate was 79 per cent which is pretty good as well, which is up on last weeks which was 68.5 per cent,” she said. “Things are going well, there’s lots of properties going to market and lots of stock out there.” She told host Peter Gleeson real estate agents are reporting that buyers are starting to snap up properties due to a fear of missing out - so the Australian property market looks to end 2019 on a high.
