The SACP on Thursday expressed its disappointment at the decision to put SAA into business rescue.

The move followed an agreement between the legal teams of trade union Solidarity, SAA and the ministers of public enterprises and finance that the national carrier would officially be put into business rescue.“We called for a thorough investigation into procurement conduct on all contracts, including airline leasing and fuel contracts, as well as into all major appointments, to establish the role these systematically played in plunging SAA into its current crisis.

“The investigation remains relevant, it is an important part of turning SAA around and ensuring that it becomes a viable and thriving productive public asset. Its scope must include a focus on irregularities, corruption and value for money,” spokesperson Alex Mashilo said.

What do they suggest should be done? Any possible solution Communists?

Shit for brains this lot

Too many greedy pigs at the trough!

Can someone balance me here tu! These communists who drive BMW's and have large tenders at the very institution, what exactly do they represent? Think it's time they get rebranding as their relevance is lost on us beside living like capitalists and preaching communism

Communism is a dead end street. Caused poverty, death and Destruction of many millions of people all over the Globe.

Unions are making a lot of money. People going on strike with no pay, while the union bosses get paid. In Germany when union member strike the Union pay they salaries. From a salary of R6500.00 the union get 1% and the union is having more than 3 000 000 member that = 195000000.

Why ,, it’s time to clean house and thin out the company . It is definitely bloated based on global standards and sometimes sacrifices must be made. Surely the unions can see this

But minister blade...blunt blade...is this not communism has at heart Destruction of any profit making business so we all can be equally poor Are these guys sure what they stand for

... when will they ever be satisfied?

Bo Blade ba makatsa man. They were there, quite as dump when all SOEs where going south. What the hell must be done? Must they continue getting bail outs? Must taxes now be for bail outs and services? Come on man!!

I for once support the SACP. It's terribly disappointing that IrvinJimSA assisted in pushing SAA over the edge into business rescue.

Unions and staff need to understand the consequences of strike action - almost 100% of the time the employee has the worst consequences and the company second the union has the lowest consequence but gets itself in the news

SAA is a business and must be treated as such. It is not even breaking even, can we have a better business strategy other than bailout, because it's not working

They pretend to be, not so long ago they were up in arms and defending the Minister of Public Enterprise. SACP a e ke e bane le nnete maan!

Even Russia is a capitalist country now... What is that communism party about then 🤔😅

Knock knock. Anyone still not dead from old age there?

Very useless

The start of SA's slide into the abyss of bankruptcy, disinvestment and high unemployment was when ANC gov got into bed with useless SACP and COSATU. The Alliance is all but dead. Dr Blade is looooong overdue for retirement.

You wouldn’t understand as there is no logic nor simple business understanding in your brains.

Lol they are disappointed by the change of rulling class, nothing else,we need to rescue SAA buy all means, hold your frustrations for little while. Let Pravin Gordhan lead the path, you send Ramaphosa muz,so Behold,he's coming quickly with a solution for this pollution.

sacp is got nyaope boys in their leadership

Next step, privatisation.

Disappointed yini bazothi its fight back

SACP please understand the graph...and infer what it means for us next year

TheBaker_za What were they suggesting?

Is SACP still relevant in today’s world?

Very good, there will be no chance for sacp , cosatu and ANC to loot

Waaaaaaah Mapaile

Why? They weren't cut in on the looting deal? There's still time. They should just rush over to Luthuli House

I am shocked.
